Apple Could Host a Major October 2025 Event: New MacBooks, iPads, Vision Pro Updates

October 5, 2025

Apple could be gearing up for a major October 2025 event featuring new MacBooks, iPads, Vision Pro updates, and next-gen accessories after the iPhone 17 launch. Here’s what to expect.

Apple October 2025 event teaser showing MacBooks, iPads, and Vision Pro with M5 chip updates

After completing its highly anticipated iPhone launch in September, Apple isn’t quite ready for this year yet. According to several reports, the company is preparing for a major event in October 2025, where Apple could unveil the next-generation MacBook lineup, new iPads, updates to the Vision Pro headset, and new Apple accessories. So, in today’s article, let’s find out if Apple could release new devices with the new M5 chip after the iPhone 17.

Will Apple release iPads, Vision Pro, and new MacBooks in 2025?

Although Apple won’t hold October launch events in 2022 and 2024, the company has a history of making important announcements during this month. As we’ve seen, Apple launched major products like the MacBook Pro and the M3 chip series at its October events in 2021 and 2023. This year, many industry experts say Apple could return to the scene for another fall showcase.

At the same time, I believe that the new MacBook will not be released this year because till now there has been no such leak of the new MacBook M5 chip, while it is confirmed that the iPads will be released in 2025. Apart from this, Vision Pro will not be released this year, but it can be released by June or July 2026.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman Reports

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman (via MacRumors), Apple may hold a full event instead of quietly issuing product press releases, if we look at the top reports. Production of new MacBook Pro models running the upcoming M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips has reportedly begun. However, these MacBooks won’t reach consumers before early 2026. Other possible revelations include OLED displays, thinner chassis designs, a more affordable MacBook model, and a next-generation Studio display.

Rumors Suggest Apple may hold a major event in October 2025

Many rumors suggest the iPad Pro (M5) will be another major highlight of the October event. Leaks suggest it could feature dual front cameras, improved display technology, and a more attractive design. Meanwhile, the Apple Vision Pro could receive its first upgrade, potentially including an M4 or M5 chip, a redesigned head strap, and an attractive Space Black color option.

Apple’s accessories lineup is also expected to receive new updates. The Apple TV could feature a new A17 Pro or N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 support, while the HomePod mini could feature improved sound, a new Ultra Wideband chip, and additional color variants. Rumors also suggest Apple may introduce next-generation AirTags, which will feature enhanced location accuracy, increased durability, and battery status alerts.

Apple has yet to confirm or deny any of these rumors regarding an October 2025 event. But given the company’s track record and its growing list of rumored products, Apple fans can make room in their calendars for one of the most exciting tech events of the year.

What do you have to say about all these reports and leaked rumors? What are you waiting for in Apple’s next event? Please share your thoughts in the comments.
